A small flashlight is great for focusing extra light on an area of the iguana’s body that you are examining. They are also good for when you need to enter a darkened room or cage to perform a quick procedure on the iguana, like a nail trim, since sleepy/asleep iguanas don’t put up much of a fuss if they are used to you going in while they are asleep.
