Animal House of Chicago

"I found on my 1st visit with my iguana, that he and his staff are very knowledgeable, the costs are reasonable, they go over in detail the treatment of your pet and they are never too busy to even answer questions by phone. They also have experience with other exotics as well, so if you have other types of pets, they can see them too. There is free parking right in front, so convenient if driving or even taking public transportation, which I do. Even though there are vets closer to me, I am very satisfied with my choice of veterinary care provider."

"Dr. Katie has treated my iguanas for the past several years. I have followed her to a couple of different clinics in the Rockford area. She is very thorough and knowledgable, and she really listens to what the owner has to say. I don't trust my iguanas to anyone else."

"Dr. Welle has been great with my iguana and my friend's leopard gecko. He talks very calmly to his patients as he handles them. When my ig was egg-bound, he discussed all the options with us and ended up performing a spay. Also I get lab results from blood panels while I wait. He is connected with the U of I's vet school so sometimes he is teaching future vets about how to care for exotic pets."
